About The Festival
Handpan Festival Asia is a three-day event dedicated to bringing together the growing handpan community across Mainland China and neighboring regions.
Featuring leading handpan musicians from China and invited artists from across Asia, the festival offers a unique opportunity to experience concerts, educational classes, and collaborative sessions while connecting with players, makers, and enthusiasts.
Hosted in a creative art zone near the historic water town of Xitang, in collaboration with the eco-art hotel Naera, the festival provides an inspiring setting for music, learning, and community.
Beyond the stage and the classroom, participants can join jam sessions, meet fellow players, exchange ideas, and build friendships with like-minded people.
Whether you are an experienced musician, a beginner, or simply curious about the instrument, Handpan Festival Asia invites you to spend three days immersed in the music and culture of the handpan.
